EDUCATION
Master of Science: Hiroyuki Katayama obtained his B. Sc. (1994) in resistivity method and his M. Sc. (1996) in numerical experiment of TEM from Kyoto University.
EXPERIENCES
He has been employed as a geophysicist by Metal Mining Agency of Japan since 1996. He worked in domestic mineral exploration department from 1996 to 1997 and technical development department from 1997 to 2001. During that time he mainly engaged in the development projects of IP and EM tomography system and SQUID magnetometer TEM system for mineral exploration.
SCHOLARSHIP:
His study in the University of Utah is now supported by the MMAJ.
