BSc. with Honors in Geology from Calcutta University, 1996.
MSc. in Applied Geology from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, 1998.
M.Tech in Applied Geology from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur,
2000.
Research Interests
Mathematical modeling, inversion theory, signal and image processing
applications in exploration geophysics.
Professional Experience
Junior Geologist in GIEM (India) Consortium between February 2000 and
July 2000. Involved in evaluating cement-grade limestone reserves for MADRAS
CEMENTS LIMITED, in interiors of Karnataka, India.
Current Project

Other interests
Besides geophysics, my interests include reading, writing, traveling,
hiking, camping and when I can find three other willing players, the occasional
game of bridge.
